About Me

I've spent most of my time exploring Europe and Southeast Asia, but there's still a huge chunk of the world I haven't seen yet. That's exactly what keeps me going.
🎒 One Backpack. That’s It.
Everything I own fits in a single backpack, and I genuinely don’t miss a thing. No checked luggage, no storage unit, no apartment full of stuff I never use. Travelling light isn’t a sacrifice. It’s a superpower. It means I can move fast, stay flexible and say yes to opportunities without thinking twice.
🌍 Exploring the World
So far, Europe and Southeast Asia have been my main territory. The laid-back islands of Thailand, the buzzing streets of Vietnam, hidden mountain villages in the Alps, beach towns along the Mediterranean. Every place has its own pace and its own flavour.
But there’s still so much left: South America, Japan, East Africa, the Americas. The list keeps growing and I’m slowly working through it.
🏋️ Sport & Movement
Staying active is non-negotiable, no matter where I am. My two anchors are CrossFit and running. I find a box or hit the pavement in pretty much every city I pass through. Beyond that, I love picking up whatever sport a place has to offer:
- Just started learning how to surf. Still very much a beginner, but fully obsessed.
- Climbing whenever there’s a wall or decent rock nearby.
- Open to anything new: paddleboarding, hiking, martial arts, you name it.
Movement is how I reset and connect with a place.
🍜 Food First
I take food seriously. Finding the best local spots is a big part of how I experience a place. A hole-in-the-wall street food stall in Bangkok, a family-run trattoria in Naples, a Sunday market with zero tourists. I’ll always pick the place with the longest queue of locals over anything with an English menu out front.
📸 Photography
I enjoy photography as a way to slow down and notice things. Nothing too serious, just capturing what catches my eye. You can find some shots at photography.boesger.com.
